In self isolation I've been going through some of my old archives and found this unfinished video titled Hedyeh/Gift. The video and the composition was inspired by a poem by the Iranian existentialist poet Forough Farrokhzad. It’s a deeply solitary poem & somehow resonates with many. The composition, an 8 minute piece in collaboration with Richard Horowitz is as part of the score for our media sate production The House is Black Media Project.
