This beautiful double album release is an elaborate 8-panel 2 CD package of scores and sound design for Iranian filmmaker & visual artist Shirin Neshat, in the largest retrospective to date at The Broad Museum. The package includes breathtaking images from each installation, including "Turbulent", winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennial, in which Deyhim also performed. Logic of the Birds is a simultaneous presentation of live and filmed performance, all text set to music and sung in Farsi, mixing "ancient lament and explosive avantgarde sound" (NY Times).
